Welcome to the Saba Center website (the "Site"). By accessing or using our Site, participating in our programs, or engaging with our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Site or services.

2. Use of the Site and Services

You agree to use our Site and services only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site. Prohibited behavior includes, but is not limited to, harassment, causing distress or inconvenience to any person, transmitting obscene or offensive content, or disrupting the normal flow of dialogue within our Site.

3. Membership and Participation

As a member or participant in Saba Center programs, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself as prompted by any registration forms.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account and password and accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

Membership Terms and Conditions

  • Membership: By completing and submitting the membership application form, you acknowledge that you will become an active member of Saba Center. Membership does not grant ownership of any type to Saba Center as it is a public non-profit.
  • Non-Refundable Membership Fees: Membership fees paid to Saba Center are non-refundable. Under no circumstances will Saba Center issue a refund for any membership fees.
  • Membership Cancellation: You may cancel your membership at any time by notifying a Saba Center Board of Director member or an authorized representative. Upon cancellation, you will no longer be entitled to any membership benefits.
  • Membership Revocation: Saba Center reserves the right to revoke your membership at any time if it determines, in its sole discretion, that there is good cause for revocation, such as a violation of these terms and conditions, Saba Center bylaws, or any rules set by its Board of Directors.
  • Compliance with Bylaws and Rules: Members agree to abide by and respect all Saba Center bylaws, policies, and rules set by its Board of Directors. Failure to do so may result in the termination of your membership.
  • Representation of Saba Center: Members do not have the authority to represent or act on behalf of Saba Center unless specifically authorized and delegated by the Board of Directors.
  • Payment Information Updates: It is your responsibility to keep your payment information, including debit/credit card details, up to date. Notify Saba Center promptly of any changes that may affect your membership payments to avoid automatic revocation of your membership.

4. Donations

By making a donation to Saba Center, you agree that: All donations are made voluntarily and are non-refundable. You are authorized to use the payment method you provide. Saba Center may use your donation as it deems appropriate to further its mission, in accordance with our stated goals and objectives.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Saba Center or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or publicly perform any of the content on the Site without prior written permission from Saba Center.

Your use of the Site and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding your personal information.

No Warranty: The Site and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Saba Center makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the operation of the Site or the information, content, or materials included on the Site.

Limitation of Liability: Saba Center shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of the Site or services, including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Saba Center, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and your use of the Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Saba Center reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on our Site and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Site or services after any changes to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Termination

Saba Center may terminate or suspend your access to the Site and services immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any of the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Site and services will cease immediately.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Saba Center regarding your use of the Site and services and supersede any prior agreements between you and Saba Center.

How the member portal applies these Terms

  • Membership through this portal renews automatically at the stated frequency until you cancel. You can cancel future renewals yourself from your member dashboard at any time, which counts as notifying Saba Center; access continues to the end of the period already paid for, and no membership fee is refunded.
  • Payment is handled by Stripe (and, for one-time donations, optionally PayPal). Saba Center never sees or stores your card details. Keeping your payment method up to date is your responsibility, as above; a failed renewal is retried and then ends your membership.
  • Programme enrolments such as Sunday Soccer are billed separately from membership and can be cancelled independently. Consent statements shown at enrolment form part of these Terms for that programme.
  • When you accept these Terms we record the version you accepted and the time. The current version and its effective date are shown at the top of this page.
